Before completing his legal studies, Douglas Herman studied political science and communications at the University of Pittsburgh. He graduated magna cum laude as a member of the University’s Honors College.
After college, and before attending law school, Mr. Herman worked in the United States Congress, the Pennsylvania State Senate, the Governor's Office of Pennsylvania and for a national non-profit organization as a chief fundraiser.
